Dear Gracy,

Time is as if crawling in the past one week. I feel burned out, physically and mentally.

Austin cut his #6 tooth - lateral incisor bottom left over the weekend. At the same time, he is progressing on the newly hit milestone - walking. Bolder, steadier and no cheating on a longer stretch and capable to turn around. But he regresses in his sleep and nap. Our recent nights watch the nightwaker awaken almost every hour especially after midnight. With lack of sleep, Austin seems restless during the waking hours of the day.  I feel challenged to keep him occupied, entertained and contented all the time.

I was too early to assume that he had gotten over the peak of separation-anxiety. The peak is coming back, he even dissatisfies seeing me crossing over the safety gate into kitchen though I was within his sight. He wants me to stay within his play zone!

People said true leader is born during crisis. In our case, we are blessed. A real super hero jumps to rescue, saving our days!

When the going gets tough, the tough get going

Hugs and love,
Ci

p.s. Hope you had a wonderful celebration on your big day!
